I was born and raised in a small town in Central Iowa. In my free time I enjoy skiing, whether it is heading west to snow ski or north to water ski! I am a relationship-oriented individual, so being able to combine my passion of construction and building relationships to complete your home project is what I enjoy most about this career. After the derecho in Iowa last year (2020), I had roof damage and gutter damage. Heartland came out quickly to tarp the holes in my roof and their tarp job remained strong and waterproof until the roof work was completed. My shingle color was difficult to match and find during the COVID pandemic, but Ben (the project manager) verified color match multiple times to get something that matches almost exactly (without sun fading, obviously). Ben kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and worked directly with my insurance so I didn't have to worry about submitting claim updates.

Julie's siding sustained damage due to high winds from a storm. Her insurance company was not going to approve the claim, but we fought for Julie, taking pictures of the damage to show the inspector what we found. We took the extra steps by working together with the inspector to come up with a solution. Once the claim was approved, Julie selected Mastic Carvedwood siding in the color woodland retreat, which gives such a warm, welcoming look to her new home.
