- Comment: After the derecho in Iowa last year (2020), I had roof damage and gutter damage. Heartland came out quickly to tarp the holes in my roof and their tarp job remained strong and waterproof until the roof work was completed. My shingle color was difficult to match and find during the COVID pandemic, but Ben (the project manager) verified color match multiple times to get something that matches almost exactly (without sun fading, obviously). Ben kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and worked directly with my insurance so I didn't have to worry about submitting claim updates.
