About Derek Roberts:

I grew up in Cedar Rapids and now live in Marion. After graduating with a Masters Degree from the University of Nothern Iowa, I've been teaching and coaching for over twenty years in a few different districts in Eastern Iowa. Over that time in the summers, I worked in areas of construction helping people in rebuild decks, re-placing roofing, and various other projects. I'm still teaching and coaching, but also want to continue to build positive relationships and help people through the jobs they need done for their home. Just like in education, Heartland is a tight knit team that always puts people first. I'm excited to help both past and new customers with all that Heartland has to offer!
